Meet the Valendog, also known as "Duff" to those who know and love him. This dignified Toller (Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever) is now 6 years old, and continues to work as a Multi Assignment Service Dog.

They don't make dogs like this often. He's one in a million. Valen's a good, solid worker with an intense will to please. There's no doubt that he rules the household, even if Zap would like him to believe otherwise. He excells in Obedience, tracking, agility, hunting and of course in his true job: guide and service work.

Valen's a celebrity of sorts - he was part of the third season of Dogs With Jobs and really enjoyed that. He still gets fan mail every time his episode airs! Recently, he got nice emails from folks in Sweden and the Netherlands! He and Zap also have a book in the works... Look forward to that, sometime in 2004...

Valen's kind of like the gentleman of dogs. A James Bond of the canine world, if you will. He flirts with women, and always gets their attention. If he could, I swear, he'd order a martini. Shaken, not stirred. With an olive.
